What is CVE-2000-0360?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in INN 2.2.1 and earlier versions, which can be exploited by remote attackers to execute a denial of service attack. By sending a specially crafted article, an attacker could trigger the overflow, leading to unexpected system behavior or crashes, disrupting service availability.
