What is CVE-2000-0428?

The InterScan Virus Wall product from Trend Micro is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability in its SMTP gateway, which can be exploited by remote attackers. By crafting a specially long filename for a uuencoded attachment, an attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the affected system. This flaw impacts versions up to and including 3.32, potentially compromising system integrity and security.
