What is CVE-2000-0636?

HP JetDirect printers up to and including versions G.08.20 and H.08.20 are susceptible to a denial of service attack. By sending a malformed FTP quote command, an attacker can disrupt the normal operation of the printer, leading to service unavailability. This could hinder productivity for organizations relying on these printers for essential business operations.
