What is CVE-2001-0056?

The login mechanism of the Cisco Web Management interface in routers running CBOS 2.4.1 and earlier versions fails to log invalid login attempts. This oversight allows remote attackers to repeatedly attempt to guess user passwords without triggering any security alerts or logs, increasing the risk of unauthorized access to the router's management interface.
