What is CVE-2001-0205?

A directory traversal vulnerability exists in AOLserver 3.2 and earlier, enabling remote attackers to manipulate file paths. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker can insert a series of dot segments ('...') in the requested pathname, allowing unauthorized access to arbitrary files on the server. This security issue poses significant risks to sensitive data within the affected systems.
