What is CVE-2001-0234?

The SQL injection vulnerability in NewsDaemon versions prior to 0.21b allows remote attackers to manipulate the database by sending specially crafted requests through the user_username parameter. This exploit can result in unauthorized access to administrative features, enabling the attackers to execute arbitrary SQL queries, potentially compromising the system's integrity and security.
