What is CVE-2001-0375?

Remote attackers can exploit a vulnerability in Cisco PIX Firewall 515 and 520 running OS 5.1.4 that utilizes aaa authentication to a TACACS+ server. By sending a large number of authentication requests, the attackers can trigger a denial of service, disrupting normal operations and potentially compromising network security. The affected devices may become unresponsive, leading to service outages and a higher risk of unauthorized access.
