What is CVE-2001-0761?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the HttpSave.dll component of Trend Micro InterScan WebManager 1.2. This flaw enables remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted long value to a specific parameter. Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to complete system compromise, where attackers could gain unauthorized access and control over the affected system.
