What is CVE-2001-0898?

The identified vulnerability in Opera 6.0 and earlier versions allows remote attackers to exploit JavaScript functionalities to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. This exploitation occurs through the use of the setTimeout function, which can manipulate data in new windows or retrieve cached data from other domains, exposing cookies and other potentially confidential information.
