What is CVE-2001-1245?

Opera 5.0 for Linux exhibits a flaw in its processing of malformed HTTP headers, allowing remote attackers to trigger a denial of service. This may be achieved by sending a specially crafted HTTP request where the header value mirrors a MIME header name. This vulnerability can disrupt service and compromise the stability of systems running this version of the Opera browser.
