What is CVE-2002-0338?

The Bat! email client versions 1.53d and 1.54beta are susceptible to a denial of service attack. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to crash the application by sending an email with an attachment that contains an MS-DOS device name in its file name. Users of affected versions should update their software to mitigate the risk of exploitation and prevent potential service disruptions.
