What is CVE-2002-0630?

The Telnet service of Polycom's ViewStation prior to version 7.2.4 is vulnerable to denial of service attacks. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending long or malformed ICMP packets, which may cause the service to crash, thereby disrupting normal operations of the videoconferencing product. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to the availability of affected systems.
