What is CVE-2002-1072?

A vulnerability in ZyXEL Prestige 642R and Prestige 310 routers allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service (DoS) condition by sending oversized and fragmented ICMP packets, commonly known as jolt style packets. This can disrupt the normal operation of the affected devices, leading to potential network outages.
