What is CVE-2002-1738?

Alt-N Technologies MDaemon versions 5.0.5.0 and earlier feature a significant security flaw which establishes a default mail account with the password set to 'MServer'. This weakness potentially allows remote attackers to exploit this default credential to send emails anonymously, thereby compromising the mail server's integrity and privacy.
