What is CVE-2002-1793?
The mod_ssl module in the HTTP Server for HP-UX 11.04, particularly when running on Virtualvault OS (VVOS) versions 4.5 and 4.6, is susceptible to a denial of service issue. This occurs when the Apache server times out while processing an SSL request, resulting in the server forcibly closing the connection. An attacker could exploit this behavior to disrupt authorized access and hinder the availability of web services, leading to potential business interruptions.
