An issue in IBM U2 UniVerse versions 10.0.0.9 and earlier enables the cci_dir component to create hard links and unlink files with root privileges. This flaw allows local users to exploit the system and gain unauthorized access by deleting or overwriting arbitrary files, thus potentially compromising the integrity of the system.
