Summary

The Cisco Firewall Services Module (FWSM) in Catalyst 6500 and 7600 series devices is susceptible to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted SNMPv3 messages to the affected system when the snmp-server feature is enabled, leading to a crash and subsequent reload of the device.
