What is CVE-2004-0459?
A vulnerability exists within the Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) algorithm used in the IEEE 802.11 wireless protocol with DSSS transmission encoding. This flaw allows remote attackers to exploit radio frequency signals, making a channel appear busy ('jabber') and effectively causing denial of service. As a result, targeted devices are unable to transmit data, disrupting network functionality.
