What is CVE-2004-1987?
The vulnerability in Coppermine Photo Gallery allows remote attackers with administrative privileges to exploit the application by manipulating the $CONFIG['impath'] and $CONFIG['jpeg_qual'] parameters. By inserting shell metacharacters within these variables, an attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the server. This flaw can lead to significant security breaches, allowing unauthorized control over the affected web application.
