What is CVE-2004-2366?

The GlobalSCAPE Secure FTP Server version 2.0 B03.11.2004.2 has a buffer overflow vulnerability caused by improper handling of the SITE command with excessively long arguments. This flaw allows remote attackers to crash the server, resulting in a denial of service. By sending specially crafted commands, attackers can exploit this vulnerability to disrupt service availability.
