What is CVE-2005-0601?
The Cisco Application and Content Networking System (ACNS) versions 4.x, 5.0, 5.1, and 5.2 contain a security flaw that allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized access. This vulnerability arises when the setup dialog has not been completed, leaving a default password in use. As a result, attackers can exploit this oversight to take control of affected devices, posing a significant risk to network integrity and data security. To mitigate this risk, it is critical for users to run the setup process and change default passwords promptly.
