What is CVE-2005-0851?

The FileZilla FTP Server prior to version 0.9.6 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. This occurs when the server utilizes the MODE Z (zlib compression) feature, which can be exploited by remote attackers through specific file uploads or directory listings. When triggered, this vulnerability results in the server entering an infinite loop, effectively causing service disruptions and preventing legitimate access for users.
