What is CVE-2005-1691?

A directory traversal vulnerability in SAP's Internet Graphics Server permits remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive files. By exploiting this flaw through crafted HTTP GET requests with '..' sequences, attackers can read files beyond the intended directory structure, potentially exposing confidential information. This vulnerability affects versions of the Internet Graphics Server prior to 6.40 Patch 11.
