What is CVE-2005-1849?

In zlib version 1.2.2, a vulnerability exists that allows remote attackers to exploit the library through an invalid file, resulting in a denial of service. This exploitation can trigger the generation of a large dynamic tree that causes the application using zlib to crash unexpectedly.
