What is CVE-2005-2142?

A directory traversal vulnerability exists in Golden FTP Server 2.60, allowing remote authenticated attackers to exploit the server by executing an LS (LIST) command that includes a backslash followed by two dots (..). This can lead to unauthorized access and the potential listing of arbitrary directory contents, compromising the security and integrity of user data.
