What is CVE-2005-2244?

The aupair service in Cisco CallManager prior to version 4.1(3)SR1 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted packets to the service. This can cause memory allocation failures, potentially enabling unauthorized remote code execution or corruption of memory within the affected systems.
