What is CVE-2005-2589?

An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the Linksys WRT54GS wireless router running firmware version 4.50.6. This flaw is triggered when WPA Personal/TKIP authentication is enabled, allowing remote clients to connect to the router without the necessary encryption, thus evading the security protocols that should protect the network.
