Summary

The IBM Informix Dynamic Database server, when operating on Windows XP with Simple File Sharing enabled, is susceptible to an authentication bypass vulnerability. This flaw allows remote attackers to log into the guest account by merely supplying an invalid username, thereby circumventing the authentication process designed to secure the database from unauthorized access.
