What is CVE-2005-4270?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Watchfire AppScan QA versions 5.0.609 and 5.0.134. This flaw allows remote web servers to execute arbitrary code by sending an HTTP 401 response that includes a long Realm field in the WWW-Authenticate header. Exploiting this vulnerability enables attackers to gain unauthorized access and control over the affected systems, posing significant security risks.
