What is CVE-2005-4348?

Fetchmail, prior to version 6.3.1 and 6.2.5.5 when configured for multidrop mode, is susceptible to a denial of service attack. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disrupt service by sending malformed messages without headers from upstream mail servers. Successfully exploiting this flaw may lead to an application crash, causing denied service to legitimate users.
