What is CVE-2005-4503?

The httprint tool, specifically version 202 and earlier, is susceptible to a denial of service attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a maliciously crafted HTTP response containing an excessively long Server field. This can lead to the tool crashing unexpectedly, resulting in service downtime and affecting the availability of systems relying on httprint for network footprinting and reconnaissance.
