What is CVE-2006-1934?

Ethereal 0.10.x up to 0.10.14 contains multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities that can be exploited by remote attackers. These vulnerabilities are primarily associated with the ALCAP dissector, Network Instruments file code, and NetXray/Windows Sniffer file code. Attackers can leverage these issues to cause a denial of service, resulting in application crashes, and potentially execute arbitrary code on the host system.
