Teredo Client Vulnerability in Networking Protocol by Microsoft
CVE-2006-6266
Currently unrated
What is CVE-2006-6266?
Teredo clients can inadvertently initiate direct IPv6 connectivity tests in response to packets from non-Teredo addresses. This behavior can be exploited by remote attackers to manipulate Teredo clients, causing them to send packets to unintended recipients, potentially exposing sensitive information and disrupting network communications. Security measures should be taken to mitigate these risks and protect against unauthorized packet routing.
