What is CVE-2006-6307?

The Novell Client for Windows has a vulnerability in the srvloc.sys component that allows remote attackers to exploit a crafted packet sent to port 427. This can cause a denial of service by accessing pageable or invalid memory addresses at a higher interrupt request level (IRQL) than normal, potentially leading to system instability or crashes.
