What is CVE-2007-0198?

The JTapi Gateway process in the affected versions of Cisco Unified Contact Center and IP Contact Center products is susceptible to a Denial of Service attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted TCP sessions to the JTapi server port, causing the gateway process to repeatedly restart. This disruption impacts the availability of the communication services provided by these Cisco products, potentially leading to significant operational downtime for businesses relying on consistent contact center operations.
