What is CVE-2007-1665?

A memory leak vulnerability exists in the token OCR functionality of EKG prior to version 1:1.7~rc2-1etch1 on Debian GNU/Linux Etch. This flaw can be exploited by remote attackers to induce a denial of service, resulting in system instability and unavailability. Proper mitigations should be in place to protect against potential exploit attempts.
