What is CVE-2007-2980?

A heap-based buffer overflow exists in an ActiveX control of LEADTOOLS LEAD Raster ISIS Object (LTRIS14e.DLL) version 14.5.0.44, which may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or trigger a denial of service condition, such as crashing Internet Explorer. This vulnerability arises due to the improper handling of the DriverName property, which can be exploited through specially crafted input.
