What is CVE-2007-3268?

The TFTP implementation in IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment version 5.1 prior to Fix Pack 3 is susceptible to a denial of service attack. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending a read request (RRQ) with an invalid blocksize, resulting in a divide-by-zero error that crashes the rembo.exe service. This leads to multiple service outages, potentially disrupting network operations and impacting overall system performance.
