What is CVE-2007-3318?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) User Access Client (UAC) message parsing module of Avaya one-X Desktop Edition. This flaw allows remote attackers to send specially crafted SIP messages that can trigger a denial of service condition, disrupting call reception for users. The vulnerability affects versions 2.1.0.70 and earlier, making it critical for users to update to more secure versions to prevent potential exploitation.
