What is CVE-2007-3956?

The TeamSpeak WebServer 2.0 for Windows has a vulnerability that permits remote attackers to exploit the system by sending excessively long username and password parameters during login attempts. This flaw stems from improper validation of parameter lengths and the lack of session expiration, which can lead to significant CPU and memory consumption, effectively resulting in a denial of service. Attackers can target the TCP port 14534 and overload the server, causing disruptions for legitimate users.
