What is CVE-2007-3972?
ESET NOD32 Antivirus prior to version 2.2289 is susceptible to a denial of service attack. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers through specially crafted ASPACK or FSG packed files, potentially triggering a divide-by-zero error in the application. If successfully executed, this defect may cause the antivirus software to become unresponsive, compromising the security and stability of affected systems.
