Default SSH Password Vulnerability in NETGEAR ReadyNAS RAIDiator
CVE-2007-4361
Currently unrated
Summary
The NETGEAR ReadyNAS RAIDiator before version 4.00b2-p2-T1 beta comes with a default SSH root password that is generated from the device's hardware serial number. This practice poses a significant security risk, as it allows potential remote attackers to easily guess the password, resulting in unauthorized access to the device. Users are advised to change this default password immediately to protect their systems from exploitation.
