What is CVE-2007-4565?

A vulnerability in Fetchmail allows context-dependent attackers to exploit a denial of service condition by sending specific warning messages via SMTP. This results in a NULL dereference, which can cause the application to crash. The affected versions of Fetchmail are those prior to 6.3.9. Users of affected versions should upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
