What is CVE-2007-4675?

A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the QuickTime VR extension of Apple QuickTime. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by crafting a QTVR (QuickTime Virtual Reality) movie file with a specially sized field in the atom header of a panorama sample atom. Successful exploitation can result in unauthorized access and control of the affected system.
