Summary

The Cisco Content Switching Module (CSM) versions prior to 4.2.3a and the Cisco Content Switching Module with SSL (CSM-S) versions prior to 2.1.2a are susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending sets of out-of-order TCP packets, which may lead to excessive CPU consumption or cause the affected devices to reboot unexpectedly.
