What is CVE-2007-6226?
The APC AP7932 0u 30amp Switched Rack Power Distribution Unit (PDU) has a critical vulnerability that allows remote attackers to bypass authentication mechanisms. This exploit occurs when an attacker makes a login attempt while a legitimate client is logged in. After the legitimate user logs out, the attacker can resubmit the login attempt, potentially gaining unauthorized access. This vulnerability poses significant risks to the security of IT infrastructure, as it could lead to unauthorized control over connected systems.
