What is CVE-2008-0061?

MaraDNS versions prior to 1.0.41, 1.2.12.08, and 1.3.07.04 are susceptible to a denial of service attack triggered by specially crafted DNS packets. This vulnerability hinders the proper resolution of CNAME records due to improper resource record rotation, allowing attackers to disrupt the DNS functionality.
