What is CVE-2008-1855?

The McAfee Common Management Agent contains a vulnerability in the FrameworkService.exe component, which could allow remote attackers to exploit malformed requests targeting the /spin//AVClient//AVClient.csp URI. This could lead to memory corruption and subsequently cause the CMA Framework service to crash. Affected versions include 3.6.0.574 Patch 3 and earlier, which are utilized by ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and ProtectionPilot (PrP).
