What is CVE-2008-1905?

The NMMediaServer.exe component in Nero MediaHome versions 3.3.3.0 and earlier is susceptible to a denial of service attack. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to TCP port 54444, which results in a NULL pointer dereference, leading to an application crash and disruption of service.
