What is CVE-2008-3182?
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the DAP.exe component of Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) versions 7.0.1.3, 8.6.6.3, and other 8.x versions. This issue can be exploited by remote attackers who convince users to open a malicious M3U file with an excessively long MP3 URL. Successful exploitation may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system, potentially compromising user data and system integrity.
